Billing & Plans
Sonny has one simple plan with everything included, plus an optional AI add-on if you want extra help. No per-seat pricing, no surprises.

Optional AI add-on
Want Sonny to draft replies and answer customers for you? Add the AI add-on on top of your plan. Pick the size that fits how busy your inbox is — you can change it any time.
AI Starter
- 300 AI conversations / month
- 1,000 knowledge pages
AI Growth
- 1,500 AI conversations / month
- 5,000 knowledge pages
AI Scale
- 5,000 AI conversations / month
- 20,000 knowledge pages
- An "AI conversation" is counted once per conversation the AI answers in a month — not per message.
- Allowances reset at the start of each calendar month. We'll notify you when you reach 80% and 100% of your allowance.
- Knowledge pages are the total pages from your website, FAQs, and documents that the AI learns from. Each web page can be re-scanned once every 24 hours.
- Only the workspace owner can add or change the AI add-on. Turn it on from the AI Copilot page in the sidebar.
How it works
Start your free trial
When you create a workspace, you automatically get a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card required.
Subscribe when ready
Go to Settings > Billing (owner only) and click "Subscribe". You'll be taken to a secure checkout page to enter your payment details.
Manage your subscription
After subscribing, use the "Manage Billing" button to open the billing portal. From there you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel your subscription.
Billing statuses
Your workspace's billing status determines what level of access you have.
Trial
You're in your 7-day free trial. Full access to all features, no credit card required.
Active
Your subscription is active and current. Full access to all features.
Past due
A payment has failed. You keep full access for 7 days while we retry the payment. Update your payment method in the billing portal to fix it — after 7 days the workspace is locked.
Canceled
Your subscription has been canceled. You have read-only access until the end of your current billing period.
Locked
Your trial has expired or your subscription has ended. Access is restricted to the billing page so you can resubscribe.
Good to know
- Only the workspace owner can access the billing page and manage the subscription.
- Payments are processed by our secure payment partner. Sonny never sees or stores your card details.
- If your trial expires, you have a 3-day grace period with read-only access before the workspace is locked.
