About
Support software for people who run the whole business
Sonny is a customer support platform built by a small independent team. Live chat and email land in one shared inbox, an optional AI copilot drafts answers from your own knowledge, and the price stays flat no matter how many people help out.
What we believe
- Pricing shouldn't punish growth
- Most support tools charge per seat, so adding a teammate to help your customers costs you money. Sonny is one flat price with unlimited agents and unlimited conversations — your whole team belongs in the inbox.
- One inbox beats five tabs
- Many of our customers run more than one site, store, or app. Sonny puts live chat and email for all of them into a single calm inbox, so support stops being the thing you dread switching into.
- We use what we build
- The chat widget in the corner of this page is Sonny, and the people answering it are the people who build it. Every rough edge you'd hit, we hit first — and customer conversations decide what we ship next.
Why Sonny exists
Sonny started with a familiar frustration: support tools that were either too thin to run a real business on, or so bloated and per-seat expensive that a small team couldn't justify them. If you run a couple of stores and an app, you shouldn't need three subscriptions and five browser tabs to answer your customers.
So we built the tool we wanted: every channel in one inbox, teammates added freely, AI that answers from your own knowledge base instead of guessing, and a developer platform — REST API, webhooks, and a hosted MCP server — so Sonny fits into whatever you're building.
We're a small team, we ship quickly, and we answer our own support chat. If you write to us, a person who works on the product reads it.
